You want to write more blog posts and create more content for your social media, but it’s hard to find the time to get this stuff done. As a mompreneur, with a lot on my plate, I completely understand your struggle. Today let’s dive into 5 ways to quickly write your blog posts and/or social media content, even if you struggle with writing.

A lot of creative time is wasted trying to figure out what exactly you want to write about, so consider brainstorming at least one possible post using one of the following ideas: Share 3 to 5 Ways to Do One Thing, Share 3 to 5 (Type of things) Every (Type or Person) Should Have, Share a 3 to 5 Step (Plan or Tutorial).

Never Be Without Great Content Ideas. First, think of two to three keywords that best describe the type of content you want to create. Second search for these keywords on Google, YouTube, and Pinterest. Make note of any titles and topics that you think you could write about. Third, create a Google Doc and call it Post Ideas, then start keeping track of titles and topics that interest you, so that you can come back to this file when you need inspiration.

Give them a taste of your best-written content. Take excerpts from one of your books or free lead magnets and use that content to write one post or possibly a series of blog posts. This is a great way to share some of your best-written content by repurposing material you already have. This is also a great way to promote links to your books, ebooks, and freebie offers.

If writing is a struggle for you, try recording audio, which for many is an easier, faster alternative to typing out your content. You can use the voice typing feature in Google Docs and most writing apps have a “text-to-speech” microphone available on the keyboard of your mobile device. You can also simply record mp3s of your content that you have transcribed using a service like Rev.com.

Do you have other forms of media like videos, audio podcast episodes, or social media posts? Most rich media / social media platforms have features for you to easily copy your content code and then embed it into your blog. Take things a step further by paraphrasing the main ideas of your audio or video. Even consider adding quick show notes and in a matter of minutes, you can create a great new post from your best audio or video content.
